Terms of service
The service
Lutecia connects your e-commerce store to AI shopping channels: it reads your product catalog, keeps it converted in the formats those channels require, serves a live discovery address on your domain, and, where you explicitly enable it, lets AI assistants create orders in your store. You connect through the Lutecia plugin and can disconnect at any time from its dashboard, which deletes the access key.
What you allow us to do
By connecting, you authorize Lutecia to read your product catalog and to transmit your public product data (titles, descriptions, prices, images, stock status) to the channels you enable. You are responsible for having the rights to the catalog data you publish.
What we do not promise
Admission to any consumer channel (ChatGPT, Google, Microsoft, Perplexity and others) is decided by that channel, not by Lutecia. We do not promise admission, visibility, traffic or sales. The service is provided as is, without warranty; to the extent permitted by law, Lutecia's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the past twelve months, which during the free phase is zero.
Price
The service is currently free. Future prices will be announced at least 30 days in advance and will never apply retroactively. You can disconnect at any time.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page with a new date. These terms are governed by French law.
Privacy policy
Data we process about you, the merchant
When you connect: your store URL, store name, admin email address, language, currency, and a WooCommerce API key created by the plugin. The key and any channel credentials you later hand over are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM). We use the admin email to contact you about the service, nothing else; we do not sell or share it.
Data we process on your behalf
Your product catalog (product data, generally not personal data), and, if you enable order creation by assistants, the order details a buyer provides to an assistant (name, email, shipping address). Order details are transmitted to your store, where the order is created and paid; for those buyer details we act as your processor. Payment data never passes through Lutecia.
Technical data
Our servers log the requests of AI assistants that query catalogs (caller IP, query, results count) for rate limiting and service operation. The Lutecia website itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
Where and how long
The service is hosted on Railway. Encrypted database backups are retained for 30 days. Merchant account data is kept until you disconnect; disconnecting deactivates the account and stops all processing of your catalog.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you can request access, correction or deletion of your data at any time:contact@lutecia.app. If a buyer exercises these rights for an order, we assist you as your processor.
